  • Dani Hebenstreit

    Certified Pilates Instructor

Certified Pilates Instructor // Dani fell in love with Pilates in 2004, after the birth of her second child. She found that Pilates strengthened not only her body, but also gave her a mental strength that she had never known. Growing up her passions included gymnastics, dancing, and cheerleading, but she never felt that she challenged herself physically and mentally until later in life. Dani developed a passion for human anatomy, physiology, and exercise science while attending school in Boulder, at the University of Colorado. She graduated with a B.A. in Kinesiology, which naturally led her to a career in healing through movement. Dani is certified in Pilates through PhysicalMind Institute as well as The Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). She is also a certified level II Franklin Method Educator, which uses imagery to teach people how to move with maximum efficiency and dynamic alignment. She advocates mindfulness, positive self talk, and encouragement in her teaching as well as in her own life. Dani has become an avid mountain runner, completing several mountain marathons, a task that seemed impossible to her for most of her life. After placing in the Masters division for the last 2 years in the Triple Crown of Running, which includes the Pikes Peak Ascent, Dani placed 4th in Masters in the Pikes Peak Marathon in 2017. She truly believes that with the strength, flexibility, and discipline that has come from her Pilates practice, coupled with positive mindfulness, the sky’s the limit!

  • Kari Harrington

    Certified Pilates Instructor

Certified Pilates Instructor // Kari has experienced back pain her whole life. Diagnosed at an early age with scoliosis, she learned to “work through the pain” to keep active. Her love for running and triathlons came when she moved to Colorado 10 years ago. She finished multiple marathons and half marathons as well as multiple triathlons, with the longest triathlon being a Half Ironman in 2013. One morning while doing laundry she heard a “pop” in her lower back and was not able to pick herself up off the floor. After many doctor appointments and scans, she was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis and told she needed spinal fusion surgery. Being afraid of what limitations that surgery would bring, she wanted a different option. At the advice of her physical therapist, she started Pilates three days a week. She quickly built up her core strength and learned to initiate movement from her center instead of using her back. Not only is she now pain-free, she has more mobility than ever before. She is a firm believer in “Change happens through movement and movement heals.” -Joseph Pilates. Although she will always have scoliosis and spondylolisthesis, she is loving life pain-free. Wanting others to be able to experience and learn from her transfomation, she decided to become certified in Pilates in 2015. Her passion is sharing the healing powers of Pilates and teaching others how to regain movement and build fitness at the same time.

  • Jody Robeson

Jody received a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2004 and went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2007. Jody was a runner in college and was always searching for fun and effective ways to keep from getting overly tight muscles and ending up with injury. After realizing the ability of Pilates to improve muscle balance and prevent common postural deficits and injuries, she incorporated it in her physical therapy practice as well. Jody is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance and has been teaching Pilates on full equipment since 2006. She is thrilled to be part of the Club Pilates Castle Rock team and to have the ability to bring Pilates to larger groups with all of the equipment a Pilates Instructor could ask for!

  • Christina Barnett

Certified Pilates Instructor & Assistant GM

Certified Pilates Instructor & Assistant GM// As a third generation native to Colorado, Christina has a deep seated passion for the outdoors. Growing up skiing, hiking, swimming, camping, and much more, she worked hard to get stronger, grow more, learn more, and experience more. Competing in swimming at the state level for 3 years in high school really took a toll on her body, preventing her from going to state for her fourth and final year. Shoulder injuries and pain put up a brick wall in her aspiring swimming career. She was introduced to Club Pilates Castle Rock through a family friend, where she began working at the front desk. She developed a deep devotion for the practice and decided to pursue it further and become an instructor. With a soft spot for animals, her best friend and partner in crime, Sampson, has taught her a lot about incorporating joy in everyday life, which she hopes to fulfill with every class and client.

  • Laura Jarrell

    Certified Pilates Instructor

Certified Pilates Instructor // I was first introduced to Pilates while working as a professional ballet dancer with the Joffrey Ballet and the American Ballet Theater in New York City in my late teens. Pilates helped me prevent common injuries and I found that it helped undo some of the damage of overtraining that comes with dancing. I left dancing at the age of 20 to pursue a career as a physician. I graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then received my medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. I am currently a board-certified Internist. Since leaving the dance world many years ago, I have consistently used Pilates to help stay healthy through the many challenges I have put my body through. Pilates not only helped me stay healthy as a dancer, it has helped me through the challenges of my medical training, recovery from childbirth and the daily challenges of being a mom of 3. I truly believe that Pilates is an exercise for every person at every stage of their lives I am excited to have the opportunity to start teaching Pilates and bring my unique experiences as a dancer and physician to help my clients achieve healthy bodies through the practice of Pilates.
